Rules of playing blackjack
The aim of the blackjack game is to reach a score of 21 or nearer to 21 before the dealer reaches the same, but at the same time the player cannot exceed 21. At the beginning, the player is dealt only two cards with one of them kept upward faced. The kings, queens and jacks bear 10 points. The ace is worth either 1 or 11. When all the players in a single game are dealt with cards, then it is up to the players to choose any one of the four standard options which are Hit, Stand, Double Down and Split. Some games do even have a fifth option which is Surrender.
If a player selects Hit option, then it means that the total value of the player’s card is too low and he wants another card. If a player chooses Stand option, then it means that the player is satisfied with the given cards and wants no more. A player can choose Split option only when he receives two similar cards such as two kings or two queens. This splits the hand of the player into two and is dealt with two more cards to fill both hands. This also requires the player to double the amount of his betting. The Double Down option also requires the player to double the total amount of his initial betting but are dealt with only one card instead of two.
Some other variations comprise of Double Exposure blackjack where both dealer’s cards can be played face up, the Super Fun 21 that pays the bonus for some combinations like diamond blackjack, The high Limit Blackjack that is played according to the standard 2 deck European rules however has the higher maximum wager, the Spanish Blackjack that is played with eight unique packs and Multi hand Blackjack that allows to bet 5 hands at time.
